The Navy Journey Earthurn is perfect for ocean or deep water burial, it is suitable for holding the full ashes of an adult. This biodegradable urn is designed to float momentarily on the surface and then gracefully sink. Once on the ocean floor, the urn will break down naturally over time, it is approved for use by the Royal Navy. This Journey Earthurn is handmade using a centuries old paper making technique. The bark from the mulberry tree is harvested, leaving the tree alive and intact. After the bark is soaked, the resulting pulp is laid out on bamboo screens, often with floral material inlaid, and dried in the sun. Once dry the paper is used to create the beautiful and earth-friendly urn. We also have a matching keepsake available, please select this from the product options below if required. The urn measures 14" x 12.5" x 3" and has a volume of 220 cubic inches or 3.60 litres. Each urn includes a water-soluble plastic bag for the ashes.

Our fully trained and qualified Funeral Director who is a member of the National Association Of Funeral Directors and the British Institute Of Funeral Directors will do this on your behalf.
